I was born in Western North Carolina.  I am a Tar Heel, a lover of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  What is better than cooling your heels in a good old mountain stream?   

I gave my life to Jesus Christ while in the U.S. Air Force in 1975.  Later, I served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army.  One of my major assignments came about when I deployed to Operation Desert Storm.

My committment is to serve the Lord with gladness, live for Christ and deliver Good News to anyone willing to listen.  The Good News, of course, is that Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins and resurrected from the grave to give us eternal life.

I encourage you to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  If the words on this website help to direct you toward faith in Jesus, I will be ecstatic.  May the words produced upon the pages of this website lift you up in your walk with Jesus Christ.

You are extremely important.  I pray that you will not waste your life.  It is a precious gift.  In God's hands, you will soar!  Soar high!
