Get Over It!

      Rise and walk.  Get over it and get going! 

 

     Lay your burdens at Jesus’ feet!

 

     Get over whatever is eating up your time!

 

     There are sermons to preach…people to teach…churches to build…love to share…sick to pray for…widows and orphans to visit…lost people to witness to…sick to pray for…widows and orphans to visit…widows and orphans to visit…books to write…Bible to read…hungry to feed…healings to perform in Jesus’ name…troubled folk to counsel in the Word…relationships to mend…etc.  On and on it goes.

 

     It ain’t over until the trumpet of the Lord sounds.  Get busy!

 

     What am I saying?  Get over it!  The clock is ticking.  You cannot afford too much down time.

 

     Judas Iscariot did not get over it and he killed himself.

 

     John Mark failed Paul and Barnabus. He left them when more missionary work needed to be done.  He got over it and joined Paul later.

 

     Most of us mess up! Some of us mess up worse.  Some of us are serial mess uppers.

 

     You must hear this…Get over it!

 

     Paul hunted down Christians and had them killed…and he got over it with Christ’s help.  He became greater after his bad than before.

 

     Peter the apostle denied Christ three times…he got over it with Christ’s help.  His most awesome days came afterwards.

 

     Have you made a bad (stupid) decision?  Get over it!

 

     Failed?  Get over it!

 

     Divorced?  Get over it!

 

     Convicted in the past?  Get over it!

 

     If you lost your dream, call out to God and get another one.

 

     Get over whatever 1) keeps pulling you down 2) keeps you in a rut 3) keeps holding you back.

 

     You can have the best…be the best…do the best…but you need to get over it!

 

     Get over it!

 

     I hope you are tired of being incapacitated by your past.
